The more important of the two, What exactly needs to be removed to do the drive belt replacement? Being new to the BMW, I would figure the radiator needed removing but I've seen pics of the radiator guide/shield removed and read that the fan needs to be removed?

Does anything else need to be replaced while I'm in there? I've read on checking the idler pulley's but don't know if it's necessary to change the auto tensioner? I've read conflicting info on relieving pressure from the tensioner. One post said to use a T40/T52 torx, the other saying a 16mm socket :dunno


Regarding alignment... I was wondering if there is much adjustment room for doing an alignment. I've noticed both fronts are starting to wear on the outside of both fronts?
SEATTLE area peeps, where do you take yours that's reliable and not a price gouge?
