I'm moving to cambrige,MA from NH and I'm down wright scared about the rates I've heard I'm allready selling the bike because of it

I actually just changed my insurance over to MA from NH. My insurance went up about $300 per year. The biggest killer is that they check your drivers record for the past 6 years. New Hampshire only looks back 3 years.

Massachusetts insurance sucks. The government controls the insurance rates which pretty much gets rid of any competition. So every insurance company is going to have about the same rates.

It's really unfair.

I pay cash every year and it runs about $2000 for the year.

The rate is also highly dependent on the town you register your car in. In Cambridge, I imagine it is going to be outrageous.
