Please...

If OU were better than Texas, they would not need to hold the game in Dallas (located in a real state with real beer) :alright

OH... just an FYI... Texas does lead the overall series... by 17 games... :redspot

beer doesnt make the Long Horns better than the Sooners.....well maybe if you drink enough you might think they are better.....and anyone can have a good game or season but history speaks for itself.....Sooners baby....7 time AP champions, Texas 3 time.....Plus look at how many times OU has made it to the finals compared to Texas.....Down with the Horns....

what about these stats?

All-Americans
Oklahoma - 141 (63 Consensus) :redspot
Texas - 115 (45 Consensus)

Bowl Record
Oklahoma - 24-14-1 (.628) :redspot
Texas - 22-21-2 (.511)

First Season
Oklahoma - 1895
Texas - 1893

Weeks No. 1 by AP

and i am for a home and home series as well. buuuuut then the city of dallas would complain, as they did when both OU and UT were at the verge of pulling the game from the Cotton Bowl last year do to the crappy venue. Kansas State has better seats there.... AND THEY ARE MADE OUT OF WOOD.

hehe and dallas is a great neutral site. where else can you get such a mix of horn haters. last year i was hatin the whorns along side TCU, SMU, Aggie, and N. Texas fans. its amazing the size of the OU club of Dallas too.

Dude, I'm not extolling the virtues of 3.2 Bud.:nono Rather, I was pointing up the disparity in the law wherein one can consume alchohol at a university event if one is wealthy enough to have a suite. If you are one of us 80,000 peasants that have to sit outside, you may not possess or consume alchohol. Not even Boston Lager.:mad

(AP) Gainesville. Enthusiastic Longhorn fans were reported to be tossing dynamite over the Red River into Oklahoma on Wednesday. This highly volatile display of team spirit was intensified when the Sooner fans would pick up the dynamite, light it, and throw it back.

Oh... do not blame the officials for any incorrect calls... a loss is a loss

curtishead
10-08-2006, 04:52 PM
Yeah, we lost. It's funny, we can beat a team that has a twelfth man, but we can't seem to beat a team with a thirteenth and fourteenth man, even though they don't wear pads or helmets, just those awful striped shirts with yellow hankies. Fortunately, television enables the entire sports community to see what really happens. I guess I know what people mean now when they say "I'll take it any way I can get it."

same ref's as the Texas Tech game....no surprise that most of the calls was for Texas and against us...I had flash back of Texas Tech and Oregan.....during the second half we did have problems but if the ref's call whatever they want...why should there even be a rule book....

Ahh come on, find something else to complain about. Plz. :rolleyes Refs don't cost you that many games.

The Ref's no but their calls yes....and if you say that all calls were by the rule book and nothing wrong with the calls then you know nothing about football, some calls on the Texas Tech, Oregan, and even LongHorn game were just bad calls which in turn cause the the other team to have better field coverage..........Yes one game our defense was sucking, this last one Paul was horrible but still ......when people that watched and reported the game from a neutral stand point say that they were bad calls and you can see from the reply and they show it over and over and the ref still calls it for the other team....something is wrong...

The Ref's doesnt make us lose but it does give the other team a unfair advantage....the long horn game....Paul played like crap.....and didnt get it done...the same Ref's in the Texas Tech game were used on this game too...so it was really easy to see that most of the calls were against us...

Oh well ...thats Football...you win some and lose some....but still our overall record is still better thats all that matters....and unlike some people that jump band wagons when their teams lose....true Fans will stick with their teams even if they lose every game....and only people that should talk are the people that truely have teams they cheer for ...not people who pick a new team everytime....

i dont know. its never the real fans. i mean when we won these past years of course we would yell and taunt the UT fans but in the end we all shake hands you know? the only thing i hate about these rivalries are the people who go to West End or Greenville or what ever, put on their OU or UT jersey, and intentionally cause trouble.
