Hello all. My son took my M3 to the store last night and adjusted the seat forward. I went to adjust it back and it appears that the switch isn't working. I am 6'8" and need the car this weekend. Is there any way I can manualy adjust the seat back? I can't get it in to the shop until next week.

It is a 2002 M3.

Thanks!

Bill

6'8"?? In that case, it can be removed entirely so you can drive from the back seat.

I think I saw that demonstrated in a Police Academy movie, so I know it can be done.

I can't imagine a son of yours would have to move the seat all the way forward, but I have noticed that at the extreme front limit of the seats' travel, they bind against the center console. Maybe it just needs some help to move backwards? Do the memory buttons adjust the seat in any other direction (up and down)?

Being 6'8" it is tough to fit, but it is stiill the best kind of car I have ever owned. I will check the console. Thanks!
