Finally got to install the Eibach springs , what a mission , the rear was intresting but I learned a lot this is my first BMW. Certainly not like an american muscle car , but it was worth the few hours work. I also have pics at different stages of the install if anyone is intrested.

Looking good! Did you stay with the OEM shocks? The stance should settle over time

Looks very good.
Do e39's come with painted mouldings? I think your car would look great with black mouldings.

Thanks for all the comments , cars are like a hobby for me so I enjoy them but i've always had american muscle so this is a learning experience for me. This board is great i've picked up quite a bit browsing it. I did'nt replace the oem shocks for a couple reasons , one the car only has 25,000 miles on the clock , and two I just dropped a nut for wheels , tires , and suspension. One things for sure if you're gonna do springs might as well do shocks ( especially if you're paying for labor ) trust me you dont want to do this job twice , furthermore pay for the labor twice. I just did'nt feel it was necessary at this point in time. I love the Eibach springs the ride is excellent , just as smooth as stock but far more responsive especially in the turns. And the stance has just a slight rake to it (like a hot rod) just a 1/4" higher in the rear. Also the car tracks straight as an arrow wont even need an alignment. As for the body moldings they came painted I prefer it like that anyway instead of black.
