I'm attempting to install my stereo right now. All is going well so far, but I can't get the console peice out because of the A/C. I disconnect all the wires to the controls, but there is on "wire" left that I don't know how to disconnected.

I am not even sure if it is a wire, but it's like a wire coat hanger that is connected to the A/C control knob.

I can't take out the console peice to fit in my new stereo if I can't get this un hooked. I am tempted to just rip it off, as I don't really care if I have A/C, but I'd rather not if I don't have to.

NEVERMIND, I made do without disconnected the temp control. It was just a pain in the ass.

Well I guess I don't need to take it off completely, but it's going to make it difficult to cut the hole bigger for the new head unit.
