I just purchased an E39 M5 with stock rims and the tires are getting pretty bald :devillook
I would like to have the stock size on the fronts, but get the fattest mofo's i can fit on the back, would that be 285's? and would i have to roll the fenders at all?

Yes, think they are 9 and 9.5 or 8.5 and 9.5.

You may be able to go 285/35-18. M5 fender lips are rolled flat from the factory. You maybe able to still "roll" them to push them out a little more.
