Any feed back on this will be helpfull. I just bought this 83 bmw and after sitting for six years it seems to be having trouble starting cold. Well i cleaned the tank and filter and the wur and the fuel dist. and i still cant get it to start cold so i hard wired the fifth inject to a toggle switch and it starts so im geting fuel at least to the fifth injector so i decided to loosen a injector line from the distributor while it was running to see if i had fuel and there was nothing coming thru the dist so im baffled as to why this might be happening i took the distributor apart and cleaned it seems like every thing was in good shape . cant figgure this one out.

so could it be a plugged line? No i guess not cuz your cold start injector is working... Do you smell fuel outside the car?

check the main line coming from the fuel pump to the fuel distributor while someone cranks the car (the fuel pump only primes when cranking) that way you can see if fuel is reaching the dist. If it is, then start checking the individual lines going to the fuel injtrs.
After six years the fuel can turn gummy and clog the lines/injectors. I have some spares you can get for free. If the lines are clogged, try the junkyard for some from the VW golf/rabbit/jetta with CIS (they might be a little longer/shorter but shoul be easier to find than bmw lines)
Lastly, does the car start fine after it has run, like after it gets hot/operational temperature? it could be the thermo time switch, which makes the cold start injector fire for 8 seconds to help cold starts.
