Its pretty stock, but as you can see has some major suspension mods (H&R coilovers) ,the OZ 3pc. wheels, and exhaust.
Im actually looking for some help/suggestions on performance mods that will boost the power of the 2.8
325i Vert 09-25-2006, 09:10 AM http://www.activeautowerke.com/supercharger/e36328/main.php
I do believe these can be modified to fit under the Z3 hood. Scott here in town actually may still have his SC for sale. It was a brand new charger he bought for his M roady but decided to go to a Twin Screw instead. Obviously, he no longer needs the other SC. It was already modified to fit under the Z3 hood and it will work with the 2.8 motor as well.
If you are not wanting to go the FI route, My advice would be to find/add these parts:
S52 cams
M50 Intake Manifold
CAI
Fan Delete
Underdrive Pulleys
Software
A different rear diff ratio would do wonders. How bout a 3.93? :)
With all those mods you should be looking around the area of about 210 to 225 at the wheels. That will put you at about the same performance level of a stock E36 M car. Let the modding commence!

Yeah, FI is where I want to end up!
Ask Scott what he wants for his SC, or have him contact me.
325i Vert 09-25-2006, 09:20 AM FI would be nice! I think when he offered it to me last, it was $4000 or so. Ill call him and see if he still has it.

Joe,
Did you buy it from a forum member? Just curious, I ran the Dragon with a guy who had one almost identical to yours.

I traded the E30 M3 to a guy named Daniel that is in fact a bf.c member.
He has run the Dragon many times, so im sure its the same car.

This guys name is Bert, so it's not the same car. Looking forward to seeeing it in person, whenever that'll be.
Does Daniel go by Fantiz on here? If so I've talked to him, but never met him. He also has a modified 1.9L Z3.
Got a busy month ahead and won't be able to make the coming get together or club meet. So I guess I'll see you when I see you.
By the way, did you ever come up with anything on the sheath material I asked you about?
Thanks and see you,
John B.

Fantiz 09-27-2006, 10:33 AM I thought I would slide by and see how the shoe is treating you. I hope you are having some fun out of her. I found out the handling issue with E30 on the way to the store. The driverside coilover set up is completly loose from the shock tower. So I will have that taken care of quick. On another note on the Z3 section we are planning a Dragon run first weekend of November so if you can get it freed up you ought to go.:redspot
Also hello Cajun have not talked to you in a while.

I keep meaning to get in touch with you about your mods to the 1.9. Just curious how everything has worked out? I'll try to make the November run too if I can, don't know for sure yet. If I go I may just show up for the day.
Keep in touch, see you.

Fantiz 09-27-2006, 01:07 PM I am the same way with the trucking I will try to make the main day but will not stay overnight. I have the Hamann side skirts on it now should be the last of the body mods.

sick car otherwise.
Damn,....... they really do look like a clown shoe from the side!
Wheels make that car what it is. Me likey.
You gonna tighten the bolts on the front bumper so it flushes up? Easy to do if they are the stock bolts.
more pics of that interior! (hatch area)
Judging by the tire well, it's a wreck and respray? Doesn't matter if it is, just asking. I know the purple m3 was a rebuilt so in trade that's perfectly acceptable.

The front bumper is the wrong bumper. (1.9 Z3)
I plan on sourcing the ///M bumper for it, so there will modifications to that front end in the coming month.
Yeah, the car has been repainted. They did a fine job IMHO

Yup, with the 101st. I should be good to make local drives for at least the next year! I'm wanting to do Mount Eagle some time. Is there a cut off date where that drive becomes no fun (ice and snow)?
I like the tan interior on the coupe, classy.
