chris@evosport 09-25-2006, 06:35 PM Hey, I'd be glad to try and help out, I'd try and convince your customer to wait for the new vf kit that's coming out... 400whp- lol
HiRide 09-25-2006, 09:05 PM Yeah, VF is supposed to have a pretty nice system coming out soon. Active Autowerk is the leading SC Kit manufacturer for the E46 M3 and they are always a safe bet(450-500+hp). Dinan also makes an SC that is currently factory warrantied, however rumors have started that BMW will be dropping the Dinan factory warranty upon release of their own performance line, should be interesting to see what they come up with. But for now, and I am assuming for any pre-exisiting BMW will honor the warranty. so if you buy Dinan before the change, you should be able to keep your warranty.
chris@evosport 09-29-2006, 04:36 PM I posted a thread about 2 days ago about the new vf kit coming out. Take a look at it, maybe let your customer check it out, and go from there. One of the cool features of the VF kit is the power is made on an entirely stock E46 M3. The quality of the kit is also second to none; the amount of time, effort, and just engineering that went into this kit is ridiculous. They've truly done their best to release a problem free kit, that consistently performs, and for a very fair price.
stimpee 09-29-2006, 10:04 PM If you want to discuss the Active Autowerke kit, email me or PM.
We have the largest number of kits out there, and the most experience in FI on the E46M3 with over 100 kits on the road. We also have a proven system with the SMG cars, and various stages of performance available.
If you want a solid, well engineered kit and software, take a look at what we have to offer!

I'm interested to know which company you either own or represent. Also which kit are you referring to when you mention SMG equipped cars? Thanks!
stimpee 10-02-2006, 08:20 PM I kind of thought it was obvious with the banner in my Sig, but I am a development engineer with Active Autowerke.

LOL, I'm just used to seeing the AA guys names with so and so @ AA with ridiculously large sigs, but I guess you're different lol. I'm still curious about some of the AA kits with regards to SMG equipped cars has the "slow shifting" issue been resolved? Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!
