I was wondering what you guys think of the price of a car I saw listed the other day. It's a 2001 330Ci 5 speed with about 59k miles. It has the premium, sport and cold weather packages. Also has xenon lights and the indash CD player. Carfax came out clean. It was being listed at 16,500.

:woot: The price is decent, just a little high, therefore it sounds like a private owner. If you're serious about purchasing this vehicle after the test drive set-up a pre-purchase inspection at an independent service shop. The inspection will give you a buy or not buy recommendation as well as inform you as to which parts are wearing and or are already worn. The mileage is right and the packages sound sweet, I'd say go for it, but not without a pre-purchase inspection from a non-biased shop. Just my two and a half cents worth. Happy Motoring...

:woot: I'm thinking if you could get it for 15,500 you would be getting a slightly better deal. It's six going on seven years old. My 2000 was built in 1999, therefore the build date for your bimmer is most assuredly 2000. My policy when purchasing anything is always come in low but never leave without getting what you want. The seller may not want to move, however what if he was willing and you didn't bother to ask. It's your money, therefore strive to save as much of it as you can. It's a 2001, therefore it's already paid for, just as my bimmer is all mine. Just my two and a ahlf cents worth. Happy Motoring...

Sounds like a fair deal to me, if it is in clean condition. But I argee with zchild, offer less and save what you can. I just got a 01 325 here in FL for 16K (loaded with sports/primium pkgs new tires and imaculate condition), where the prices are a bit higher. I am very happy so far, and I got what I wanted in the end.
