Hi everyone,
I was wondering if the headlights sold on ebay for the e39 97-02 series are any good? I would post a link but i dont have permissions to do so. The ones that i am talking about can be found by doing a search "e39 headlights" most are between $200-$300 for a pair. I have a 97 528i with stock halogen headlights so any info on the ebay ones would be very helpful.
Thanks

if they are "depo" brand they are good quality aftermarket lights. the oem lights are hella brand, and are more expensive but are the exact lights for the car.

I bought mine from EBay that have the HALO eyes, and can handle the HID kit. Some on there won't be able to handle the HID kit because of the heat, so make sure before you buy ask if it is HID compatible if it does not say it in the auction.

if your talking about the angel eye later style (01+) lights on ebay i got them as well and they're great. Just be careful, some look similar but not quite oem because they're missing the corner piece or the corner piece is a weird design. As long as the housing is black and you have a boomerang corner piece in either amber or silver it should be right (i hate the chrome housing ones, belong on a honda)

Do you have a link or ebay store that you purchased them from?
Thanks.
