When my car gets warmed up, and I have it in neutral; a chatter will come from right under my center counsol. I usually notice this when sitting at stoplights in neutral.
However, when I press in the clutch, the sound goes away. I dont even have to put it into gear. I can just press in the clutch with the tranny still in neutral and the sound disapears.
Is this your general clutch/flywheel chatter?
Is it something else?
MOST IMPORTANTLY- Should I be concerned? What causes it? What are some Future problems I might have?
Thanks guys

I have the same sound, and was told it was chatter due to my lightweight flywheel / M5 clutch combo. But I'm interested to hear what others say.

Yep, nothing bad, just something to live with when you got a lightweight flywheel.

I too, have a 12lb Dinan Flywheel/Performance Organic Clutch, but I don't hear any chatter, I did before with my M5 clutch.

Some noise is normal. But you shouldn't have to raise your voice over it. If you only sorta notice it with the radio on, it's normal.
