Replaces a pretty nice Harmon Kardon stock system. Those speakers go in our ZHP 330 as new replacements.
Already installed is a Alpine Head unit, 300 watt JL AMP, Alpine Changer and V1 Hardwired Radar.
The Box is 2 JL W3v3 Powerwedge. I went for it because it seemed to be the best fit with the loudest bang and the less weight for the JL boxes.

What suspension and exhaust are you getting?

W3's are good subs, I had one in my old 323 but I was carrying it out my screen door one day, and the door swung back and hit directly on the surround and put a hole in it ... sucked. W3's hit higher bass I feel, I have a W6 now which doesn't hit high bass as good, but is much louder over-all. The JL amp I had was terrible though, it shit the bed aaall the time, now I have X-tant and Audiobahn now, never had a problem in over a year.

JL amps rule, I have been using them for years. I did have one go bad though.
I like the screens on this box, my W7's in my C32 got messed up. Below and I could not get the weight out.
I also like being able to remove it.
I am doing a Rouge Rasp Pipe, UUC sways and PSS9's.

That isnt an M3 trunk >< the M3 trunk is too small for two W7's, if you want the right air space or wait are thoose W6's?

Nice mount of the XM antenna...same place I put mine. Putting it on a painted surface is retarded.

Thats my old C32 trunk..I think they are W6's..that was a couple years ago...

I picked the W3 box because of the weight and size.
It also fits very snug in between the M3 wheelwells.

I have a W7 I want to get rid of. It is just sitting in my garage.

JL is the hardest company on the planet to get sponsord by I have heard.
I dunno, they are cool with me and I have gotten systems in my cars since 2000. I had a couple feature cars before, now mine are in movies and stuff. So I get free shit.

My install is getting close, nothing special, nice n clean..Dyno matted the trunck too.

Dammit vader all this talk is making me want to take my W7 and stick it back in my car.

All I know is it sounds AMAZING, the only pics are of M34ever and us messing around doing the install. The box is sliding around, I did the drift test and it failed, so we will mount it..I will take pics after the mount job...

I am not done yet, because we have to make a mount for the box..but here are some pics...I will post the box later when we finish. It sounds FUCKING AWESOME though.

I wouldve went with Boston Accoustics. My buddy has a setup in his e30 and it is clean. Nice deep bass but can't be heard from outside. Interior sound is so crisp you swear you were at the concert.

Components were Boston also, complete setup.

I bet he had it dyno matted.

whatever you do with it good luck. Looks like you got some knowledge of sound systems. I like how peeps spend some money to have it put in like it is "one with the car"
