this is my friends account... i'm first wondering if its possible to swap an SMG to a fully standard bc i understand that there is no clutch with an SMG... if that makes sense at all can you tell me how much something like that would cost... if you need more clarification let me know

youd have to reflash the ecu drill in a clutch wire it and get several stock parts.... my guess is minimum 4g's for everything but the tranny, from BMW ofcourse

I asked a friend who works at a BMW shop the same question, and it was some insanely high number (Over $10k), including labor. This was a while ago, so I'll ask him to see if he remembers a closer number.

That would be an extremely expensive task. I would just personally find one with the options I wanted. In this case a similar equipped 05 with a three-pedal.

My friend said it would be $17k total.
