i just moved from vancouver to poland for university and was wondering if i could help u guys w/ any euro-spec parts. More specifically euro-spec headers, clear corners, and maybe brakes as i think they're different. I don't know what other differences there are between euro and n.a. cars but if u want somethin from here reply and i'll c wut i can do. My uncle is a mechanic and his cousin is a mechanic too, but in germany. Both work on benz's rebuilding engines (rebuilt a 2003 2.7 cdi turbo w/ 800,000km in 2 days!) So i'm here and willin to do some scrounging through the yards..thanx for ur help and have a good one

well i know that some of the owners swapped out parts...a guy from the middle east gave it to hartge and they got 391 hp at the crank...so if there's modding on the car there's gonna be parts that were swapped...though i know that its mostly weight-saving that has been done to the csl. The fiber-glass trunk is not to hard to find, as is the csl bumper. Seats will be hard...and the steering wheel can be found in the zcp. Wheels can be found at turner motor sports. And tires-better off getting slicks for the track and street legal tires (as the tires the csl has arn't legal in the u.s.) CF hood i'd say does more good then the fiberglass...as ur taking weight off the front of ur car...thus improving f/r balance-just remember to get one w/ the bracing on the underside. CSL suspension-just get polyurethane bushings-steering rack from the zcp, thicker sway bars up front (stock rear will give u a lil' more oversteer-but not as stable at high speed)...anything more and like i said...i can c wut i can do...no guarantee's but u arn't paying anything so nothing to worry about

Wut would be the point of making a csl if there's no way in hell of making the money back unless u actually owned a csl? Build u're own...fiberglass/ carbon fiber 3/4 panels, front fenders, alluminum doors, c/f hood, strip ur interior, weigh less then a csl already-oh can't forget ceramic 6 pot brakes off of a gt3/ 911...another 5 lb's per corner! Plexiglass windows...fiberglass bumper...the list can go on and on and on...cam's and ecu arn't hard 2 find to get 355 hp...the rest is in materials...i don't have the money to fabricate it myself-considering u can afford an m3....maybe that somethin u may wanna look into! Cheers

i'll check-thanx 4 the interest-btw you still won't pass emissions with the cats...thought if your looking 2 keep the dB's down it'll definately do the trick...and still keep the emissions in check on an international leve :)
