I am going in for an alignment at the stealer tomorrow (car has 58K miles and 6 track events, so figured it was due one).

Last track days, corded both front tires on the outside outside edges, with lots of meat left in the middles so, I think I need a little extra negative camber dialed in.

1) Should I have my track wheels and tires on the car when i go in for the alignment, or will it make any difference? (track wheels are SSR Comps same size as stock, but I have a +2 tire fitment)

2) I was guessing to ask for an extra 1/2 degree negative camber all the way around. Too much? Not enough? Too little information for a valid opinion?

Thanks for any tips,

You want -2.5 to -3.5 degrees up front, and depending on the width of the rears, about -1.5 to -2.0. Toe for the rear should be BMW spec. Front toe should be as little as possible, even zero toe, unless you get annoyed with the car not tracking perfectly straight all the time. Zero toe up front can cause the car to wander a bit on the street, and it gets worse as the tires wear further.

What is your front tire pressure when hot? You can delay cording the outside edges with a bit more pressure up front at the track.

Unless you have adjustable aftermarket suspension bits you aren't going to get much (if any) extra neg. camber.
