Do they in georgia?

It looks alot better on the e30vert IMO, but if I get rear ended, could a cop/judge/lawyer somehow make me get the ticket(Thus having to pay for my car)?

Thanks

If your car didnt' come with one, you don't need one. If it did...

Why would you want to make yourself less visible?

If I remember correctly, 1986 is when 3rd brake lights were mandated on cars in the U.S. I remember my parents Nissan Maxima as being the first car they had with one.

'86 is the cutoff.

PO took it off. I think it looks better anyway, and it would be kinda a hastle to find another trunk in good condition with a working light.

So how legal/illigal is it, if I get hit?

2nd degree felony. Serious prison time.

I really would like to know though, because that would SUCK to have to pay for both cars because someone rear-ends me.

I wouldn't loose too much sleep over it.

You are giving cops way too much credit; they are not that smart.

I've admired your car since you joined. Any more pictures of it? One of the best looking E30 'verts that I've seen.

I wouldn't sweat it either.

Besides, the cabrio 3rd light looks like a tumor.

He has not bought it yet. He picks it up on Wednesday, I believe.

I wouldn't normally give an E30 'vert a second glance, but that one is HOT.

I swaped my trunk lid for a sedan lid over 8 years ago. I have yet to have any problems. I also added a wing a few years ago that has a brake light biult in.

They will get a following too close even if your tail lights are not working.
