Hi there,
I have a 1999 318i and notice quite significant shaking at the rear at high speed (say 80 to 100 kmh). It seems to be fine at lower speeds, and doesn't shake all the time, just occassionly.
Someone suggested wheel balancing, but I would have thought it would do it all the time if that was the case.
I've searched some other posts on here, and it has been suggested wheel bearings could cause this - but again, would this happen all the time if wheel bearings were the problem? - Is this a safety issue, or could I leave it if it were diagnosed to be a bearing fault?
Thanks heaps
Richard
