i picked up a 325IS w/ m3 suspension and body kit and some other lil stuff.. it is an automatic, 159k on the clock and has some issues i need some help with please

First the OCB will display the lights on the buttons when i turn on the head lights but nothing else will display on the screen, in my 318is the lights went out but i could still see the numbers with a flash light on this i cant.. so there appeares to be no display on it at all,

Second when i come to a stop the engine surge's from 600-900ish and being an auto it pulls forward just a bit.. and while cruseing at 30mph or so it will kind of dip just a little bit, what could be causeing these issue's

Other than that all i need is a drivers side airbag and im set, thanks..
