They recently put on some sealer and its MEGA slick in the wet.

Today was better.. I was turning 143s... still about 4 secs off Tillinghast. Tomorrow is qualifying... hopefully I can pick it up some!

Welp... someone pulled a "Joey Hand" and flipped their car end over end. Driver is ok, minor cut. Pretty bad wreck as the car is done for.

latest results are out for the warm up. Im 1.5 secs off the leader now... and less than 0.1 from the two spots before me (5th). However, I just got DQd for passing under yellow :mad Came up over a hill and the guy in front decided to rubberneck a wreck... so I ducked out next to him and went by... I even acknowledged the flag station.... but stupid me thinking it was a warm up, didnt give back the "position".... which is stupid caus there is no position to give up. Anyhow, my qualifying session for the qualifying race is scratched. Lucky me, I get to barrel through 40 cars from the back of the field now :mad

Lame...they should have black flagged you and taken away the rest of your practice. There's no reason they should expect you to give back a "position" in practice and then take away your qualifying times.

Even lamer that there are still "racers" who think they need to slow down to look at a wreck instead of keep pace at 8-9/10ths to make sure they don't make the situation worse by getting collected by someone coming up behind them.

Tough luck Wonger. Hope you can make it up in the qualifying race!

that is Joey hand's wreck in the Connelly M3 during the GA race there at Mid Ohio.

Made it through about half the race.. then nursed it a little, but it was shaking REAL bad... didnt want to chance anything so I took it in.... and then white flag comes out. :(

I went from 54th to 27th before I pulled to the side and had everyone pass me ... wish me luck for today, Im going to need it. Paul Hamm checked out yesterday running 138s

You get points for each race... then add together to determine starting position for today.

I'll be starting 27th thanks to my DFL on Friday. Olivier didnt finish yesterday so he will be starting from behind me... should be interesting.

alright i have a question, i've never raced before and give a big hand to those of you that do, but how much of an adrenaline rush do u get from those first few laps being in a huge field, crowded together, having to fight ur way to the front, u're only a few feet front most of those guys and ur just dodging through then?

HUGE. WOW... what a great week of racing. Ive NEVER raced that hard continuously for that long ever... the competition was just so tight!

I started 24th in the championship race and ended up 6th in class I think... unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries and I only got the first 6 min or so of the race :( Bummer too... I had a GREAT battle w/ Pascarella, then I spun, then clawed my way back :redspot

Just got hom.. kinda tired, so Ill upload vid tomorrow.

Whoop yea... 24th. After I spun, he passed me and got into it w/ a 944. Then dropped out.

Dave had clutch issues :( He tried to nurse it as long as he could. Rough break for him also. He was doing real well too.
