View Full Version : What did you do with your MARB this summer?
joenationwide 09-12-2006, 01:56 PM I was thinking about the plans I had for my 95 M3 for this year, as in autoxes, driving events, meets, etc. And I feel like I was able to do most of what I wanted to do with the car this year.
So I was wondering what others did with their M3 or other MARB this summer or this year. Here's what I've done so far this summer:
Ran all SCCA WDCR Autoxes, including the Pro Solo and Ron Katona Memorial.
Ran 3-4 NCC BMWCCA Autoxes
Ran 2 Autoxers Incorporated events
Ran 1 CDC autox
Ran 1 Tidewater Region autox in VA Beach at amphibious base (very cool)
Ran 1 FATT at Summit Point Shenandoah
Ran Redline Time Attack at Summit Point Shenandoah
Rest of the year:
NCC BMWCCA Sept 23 autox
Maybe NASA Autox in Richmond, Oct.1
Signed up for NASA HPDE Summit Main, Oct. 14-15
Cumberland Autox-October 28-29 pumpkin carve
and maybe more...
-I waxed da ryde and put sum ICE in it.
-Cruized 4 bytchez
-Street raced

Nice! An eta engine conversion or was it the M20B25 with an eta crank or better yet the 524td crank?
ComBIRDable 09-12-2006, 09:28 PM I've done 12 autocrosses with two different regions. I still have 8 to go!:alright
Other than that, I did Inspection I (RICH!!! :D) and bought new tires.
Some road trips here and there, but otherwise, it is my daily commuter until it gets cold.:(

It was a super eta conversion. I milled the head 20/1000ths to give the compression a little bump. Runs like a top to 7000rpm!
Biggins 09-12-2006, 09:41 PM I've put in 17 autoxes all over the area with another 6-8 planned before Thanksgiving.
I've done no mods that I wanted to except for new tires, and I still can't decide which car I want to buy for next season.
morganbressler 09-12-2006, 10:08 PM Ton of mods.
Drove it to tennessee, and blew my waterpump. Happened to smell it, and babied it to the dealer. Paid cost on the part :redspot, and got a break on labor.
CONNECTIONS FTMFW!
