I can't find any place near me that carries Mobil 1 0w40. My WalMart doesn't stock it, PepBoys and AutoZone are far enough away that it'd probably be cheaper to mail order than spend the gas+tax. Any other suggestions on where to go?
Also, any recommendations on a cheap place to get Lubro Moly Voll-Synthese 5W-40? I know Pelican and Bavauto carry it...any place that's cheaper?
Thanks!

I've only been able to find 0w40 at AutoZone, and I've looked everywhere in my area. Even then it's hit or miss if they actually have it in stock. I had to go to three before getting a full 6.

Yeah, Autozone may be it. Sigh.

sorry to hear that. I know the frustration. for many years, the local autostores and walmart did not carry M1 0w-40. In recent years, my local Walmart now has M1 0w-40 (usually only about 24qts, not many) and the local Kragen also has it. Autozone in my area do not carry M1 0w-40, but they do carry the German Castrol 0w-30 which is also another good option, some claim better than M1.
i recommend you check out bobistheoilguy.com as there may be people there that are local to you and may know where to buy what you're looking for...

These guys were absolutely fabulous to deal with. The oil is only 5.50 a quart, with a fixed 7.50 shipping charge, no matter how much you buy.
I bought 6 cases in one drop. They actually took the care to individually wrap each bottle lid in tape to keep it from (1) spilling everywhere should the cap not hold in shipping, (2) provide immediate evidence of tampering.
Funny enough, they swapped a numeral in my address accidentally, and UPS managed to find someone else in the Twin Cities who happens to have my same name (though the address is completely wrong) and delivered it to him. I gave these guys a call and they shipped out another 6 cases for me right away. Easy as pie.
