My friend has a mini and we are planning on i guess making our own custom intake for her car and i was wondering what the diameter is of the stock intake tube. We are planning on putting a KN cone filter on it and removing the stock air box. If you have pictures of a non copper-s with any intake could you please post them as well.

I think you will be way better off buy an intake from a reputable company and bolting it up. Why knock yourself out making something that has already been done pretty well. No offense.
