I want a good condition somewhat low mileage winter beater. Now that my Explorer is gone(:( ) I am stuck driving my Volvo and I just don't enjoy FWD in the winter. I have searched autotrader and whatnot and haven't had any luck finding one in the area.

Let me know if you guys know of anything, I'd say $5,000 is pretty much my spending limit since thats the amount I got from the girl's insurance who totalled my Explorer. But willing to go a above or below that if need be.

Thanks

I've been keeping an out for one myself!

They are VERY rare to find FS in this area.

I know:(

I'm too picky when it comes to getting back into BMW ownership, all I want is an E30 325ix, low mileage S52 M Coupe or S54 M Coupe for a reasonable price.

I think finding my M Coupe for a reasonable price is going to be even harder than finding that E30, low mileage examples are in the $35k plus range:eek:

Greedy bastards.

is it an ix?

even if its not I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures if its not too much of a hassle for you.

Appreciate it!

not sure exactly what it is, has no badges on it, i'll check it out

it looks like it has an eta style front lip, couldn't see the cluster because of fogged up rainy windows

my winter car is an 88 325is 5-speed. 4 good snowtires and the LSD take me pretty much everywhere I need to to in the winter. The rear drive platform will be easier to find, less expensive to purchase, and less maintence than the ix. Plus its fun in the summer too.

yeah I'm definitely open to an 325is as well, but so far nothing worth the money has come up

Wow, Mine is the exact same car but with about 105k miles and all new suspension, mounts, etc. When I bought it 10k miles ago it was like I got time warped back to '91 and bought it new. Anyway, I'm going to be letting it go in a year from now for slightly more ~ $6,000. I've gotta move up to a Dodge Ram crew cab/mega cab for my wife's car and so I can tow a trailer.

Now looking for a nice 325is 5 speed, don't care about year or mileage as long as it is in good condition.

your in for a treat if you decide to get that one. craig reisser is an interesting fellow to say the least. I can vouch for the car though. It is clean and well maintained. But, I doubt it has an LSD because its an "i" worth looking into though.
