View Full Version : KC Peeps, friend in need....
Dark Helmet 09-07-2006, 12:23 PM he failed the missouri inspection in his 95 M3 because the windshield washer sprayer didn't spray...
he's down at UMKC-Law and hasn't a clue where to start with the thing,
Brady, anyone?
(brady, the car is Orron's who you met in July...)
RagnarDanskjold 09-07-2006, 01:54 PM WTF? Winshield washer didn't spray? I've never been checked for that.
Is he looking to fix it or get the inspection paperwork?
For 'minor' annoyances like that, I'd highly recommend Mr. Brooks for inspections. He's on 17th st. just to the east of Summit. (going uphill away from Bartle Hall).
If that's what you're looking for, I can get a specific address for you. Great guy in a little shop.
Dark Helmet 09-08-2006, 01:04 PM tell you what, you call Orron 402-560-1445 (nebraska cell#, he's from here originally).
or email him at ohill1 at hotmail dot com
HUGE thanks brady...

Its probably just the pump for the fluid....
Call BMA or he might even get it from the dealer. All you need is some pliers and maybe a screwdriver.
95E36M3 09-13-2006, 10:13 AM i allways pass my mvi even when i had poor suspension all around on my old car. nothing like friends with shops:buttrock
Dark Helmet 09-13-2006, 10:35 PM bizzump...
also, it appears that the shop didn't know HOW to work the washers... as they work just fine for the owner..
RagnarDanskjold 09-13-2006, 10:49 PM Coo. Good to hear.
Nicadymous 09-14-2006, 02:44 PM Thanks for posting this J.
Yeah. The idiots at the dealership did not understand how to work the windshield wipers. I called them about it today. I guess that is what you get when you take a BMW to a chevy dealer.
Anyway, if you could give me some better info on the location of a shop to take my car to for MVI I would appreciate it. If possible, I would like to set up an appointment so that I don't have to stay there all day waiting for it.
Thanks in advance for your help.
kesslerbmw 09-14-2006, 02:46 PM If you don't go down to the place that steve suggested, lemme know, I can use a favor and get one of the guys at work to do it.
Dark Helmet 09-14-2006, 04:02 PM he lives!
kesslerbmw 09-14-2006, 04:31 PM he lives!
I posted up there ^
RagnarDanskjold 09-14-2006, 04:37 PM The guy is Mr. Brooks, and he's about 1/4 block East of the intersection at 17th and summit. A small shop with the yellow MVI sign out front.
I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Again, nothing special, but he's understanding about minor things and I like supporting the little guy.
He was in Burgandy, France in WWII and would love to go back. I hope he does.
