If i go from my 97-00 headlights to the updated 01+ headlights, am I able to reuse my oem Hid bulbs and ballasts off my 97-00 headlights? I know the earlier ballast is thicker and would not fit in the newer ballast bracket but would the d2s bulb out of my 97-00 headlights fit in the 01+ headlights? If so, that means i could re use my existing ballast and fabricate a different bracket so it would fit on or near the newer headlights. Right? Can anybody help me out?
