Mr Project 09-06-2006, 09:59 PM Parting out my parts car!
LKM - This worked fine, I resoldered it as a preventative measure a couple years ago. $45

Parcel shelf - I thought this was sold, but he backed out. I had this covered in custom carpet, very similar to parchment in color. I loved it, it looks a LOT better in the car then the factory 'mouse fur' material and will hold up better. $35

Here are some pics of the car so you can see what is left, let me know what else you're looking for!!

Dark Helmet 09-06-2006, 11:44 PM the door panels are not available.
just FYI...
spartigus007 09-07-2006, 12:02 AM are you selling the front seats? If so, how much for one or both.
atl530i 09-07-2006, 04:42 AM Damn, let me know on the rear shelf. Thanks :)
Mr Project 09-07-2006, 07:42 AM atl530i - Shelf is $35 plus shipping, I'll get a quote and let you know. DH is right, I'm keeping the door panels.
Smoove - I'll get all those pulled and get you a price. I'm thinking $25 for the trim and $15 for the actuator plus shipping....sound reasonable?
Fkong - armrests are ok, not fantastic condition, but ok. I'd rather sell the whole seat though.
Spartigus - I'd take $75 per seat, $150 for the pair plus shipping. I can get you pics of them, the driver's seat has some wear but no tears, heaters work on both seats though the passenger's seat works better.
Sunroof panel cover is gone.
BMRSEB 09-07-2006, 08:52 AM Brackets for the CD Changer if it had one? I have the Alpine unit 82111468014.
spartigus007 09-07-2006, 09:32 AM If you get a chance can you post some pics of the seats. Thanks.
kirasam70 09-07-2006, 09:39 AM Ok, I guess it's my turn.:)
I need the lock assembly for the drivers door. Everything from handle to handle to lock pull. I was also interested in the heater core.:devillookIf the heater core is compatible with my 525 with an m20. But, I guess you would know.:buttrock
kirasam70 09-07-2006, 09:49 AM Oh yeah you know what else...the center and bottom moldings off the front fenders. yeah thats about it. Uhmmmm....ok ok. Maybe the sills with clips also. Yeah those too. But, thats it I promise. Maybe I shouldn't promise...but I am pretty sure.:confused
NJHokie 09-08-2006, 09:13 AM Mr. Project,
Over at e34.net I inquired about the glovebox flashlight, any key fobs, and non-cracked fog lights. let me know.... thx!
Mr Project 09-08-2006, 09:20 AM Pm's and pics will be sent/posted tonight, I got some of the stuff boxed up yesterday.
BMRSEB - I don't think I have a changer bracket. The car used to have one but I think it got tossed years ago.
Kirasam - I think I have some of what you're looking for, I want to take some pics and make sure we're talking about the same stuff.
NJHokie - I don't have anything from your list, sorry.

Thanks anyway..
Mr Project 09-08-2006, 07:15 PM PMs sent to interested parties, Kirasam, I'll have to get back to you on your stuff.

wyldbil 09-08-2006, 09:37 PM Sunroof switch panel to 37772?
abakos 09-08-2006, 09:44 PM Both drivers side door gaskets available? Condition?
Quote me on shipping combined with the LKM :)
Edit- I also need the connector off the front harness that connects to the fog light, just snipped off with a few inches for solder/shrink tube. Lost a fog light last weekend in a flood, long story, but it took the connector with it wherever it went :(
Thanks-
Aaron
Mr Project 09-08-2006, 11:35 PM Sunroof switch panel is gone.
Abakos, pm me your zip code and I'll total it up for you. I'll throw in the fog light wiring for $3 if you buy the LKM. :) Rear door gaskets were in decent shape but are gone, driver's door gasket is in poor shape, passenger's side front door is ok if you want that one.
kirasam70 09-09-2006, 12:14 AM no problem no rush
spartigus007 09-09-2006, 09:32 AM My car doesn't have the memory or the heated seats? Do you think that will be a problem. Are you going to include the motors too?
Mr Project 09-10-2006, 11:04 PM Yes, seats would include all motors...and all work. I think most E34s were pre-wired for heat..not sure about memory, though these don't have memory anyway.
I also have a few parts for a '92 M50 E34...anybody want an extra MAF or stock airbox for a non-VANOS car?
flyeryan 09-11-2006, 12:08 AM Hey Armen,
Let me know what you have left when you get done parting it out. If you have the rear doors, rocker panels, and a few other things I'd be seriously interested in taking it all off your hands. Probably for a little less than what we talked about though, as stuff will be gone and I'm not sure if I can swing that at the moment anyway.
Thanks,
Ryan
offthewall 09-11-2006, 01:31 AM do u have the side right side cover in the trunk? if you do, is it the one with a receptacle?
moroza 09-11-2006, 01:51 AM What would you want, shipped to 44074, for:
- The center trunk interior panel (goes on the back of the rear seats), if it's at least in one piece.
- Front left fender molding strip, if it's not warped or too rusted.
- As many of the door bottom trim pieces as you have.
- The strip of plastic trim that goes in the driver's doorsill.

Thanks, Ryan, I will. I just wanted to give some people a chance to get the little bits they might need before either we work out a deal on the shell, or I haul it off for scrap.
I'm trying to find out when to expect that the Corvair project is coming back, because ideally I'd like to have the sedan shell out of the way when that comes back. Probably in the early October timeframe. We can talk more when you're back this way on the 23rd.
Dark Helmet 09-11-2006, 10:41 AM you have a couple weeks on that Armen... they are trying to get Bob's Sister's car out of there ASAP...
and they've got to get back to Indiana, AND you need to take it easy for a few weeks...
spartigus007 09-11-2006, 05:54 PM I'll take the driver's seat. Write back to see about arrangment of paying and shipping. Thanks.
Lastb0isct 09-12-2006, 02:24 PM Do you have the left rear window regulator?
Mr Project 09-12-2006, 10:14 PM do u have the side right side cover in the trunk? if you do, is it the one with a receptacle?
Not sure what you mean by receptacle...you mean the little plastic bin? Yes, I have that. If this pic looks right, I'll take $15 plus shipping
http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/4416/img2739smallll6.jpg
What would you want, shipped to 44074, for:
- The center trunk interior panel (goes on the back of the rear seats), if it's at least in one piece. - check the pic
- Front left fender molding strip, if it's not warped or too rusted. - gone
- As many of the door bottom trim pieces as you have. rusted
- The strip of plastic trim that goes in the driver's doorsill. - the black and silver, or the carpet-colored piece?
http://img158.imageshack.us/img158/7346/img2738smallkm6.jpg
If this looks right, I'll take $15 plus shipping...but shipping has been kinda steep on these lightweight bulky items.
Do you have the left rear window regulator?
Yep, $45 plus shipping
moroza 09-13-2006, 12:38 AM Yep, that's the piece. Eyeballing it, it's something like 30" x 20" x 1.5", which is $7.20 shipped via USPS. If it's much bigger than that, it'd be more like 15-20 for shipping.
I'm looking for the carpet-colored piece - one piece of plastic, should have several longitudinal ridges.
Mr Project 09-13-2006, 07:10 AM Yep, that's the piece.
Yeah, I have that plastic piece. My interior is 'Parchment'...so far everybody else has has 'Natural Tan', which is a lighter color...do you want the Parchment piece?
E36 328is 09-13-2006, 01:48 PM Is there any way you could sell the drivers seat belt recepticle?
moroza 09-13-2006, 02:54 PM It could be neon pink with swastikas on it for all I care - I'm going to paint it black anyway.
Also remembered that my hood emblem is peeling badly - if you have either the rear or the front, I'd take it
(and does my estimate of that panel's size seem about right?)
Mr Project 09-13-2006, 09:55 PM Moroza, the box is 37"X22"X5". It's only about an inch wider than the panel, I had to buy a custom box and cut it down. I gotta charge a little for the box I bought...shipping total is then about $22 via fedex.
For $15 + 22 = $37, I'll throw in the sill trim panel for free. Heck of a deal. :) I didn't paint the sill trim panel pink, though. That I saved for you. :)
Mr Project 09-13-2006, 09:58 PM Is there any way you could sell the drivers seat belt recepticle?
I could sell the passenger's side one, which can be used on the driver's side. $15 shipped in a padded envelope.
Dark Helmet 09-14-2006, 12:04 AM :rofl
we should have a UPS depot at Armen's house... they have got to love us lately.
E36 328is 09-14-2006, 01:17 AM I will take the seat belt recepticle, can't beat that price!
dynamicone 09-14-2006, 12:28 PM Got the rear exterior windshied trim left? The 2 "L" shaped trim that surrounds the wondow and the center cap.
Mr Project 09-14-2006, 06:10 PM Yep, PM sent to you dynamicone.
E36 328is, thanks for the payment. I will try to ship tomorrow. (gotta get it removed tonight)
Mr Project 09-20-2006, 10:32 PM Bump, need to get rid of this car soon, so let me know if you're looking for something.
You know it's bad when I get tired of having a wrecked shell of a car sitting in my front yard. :)
acidfire52 09-24-2006, 08:47 PM Hi. DO you still have the front seats? I really only need the drivers side, but mine are not heated so I might as well take both.
My driver seat is twisted.. Have not found a lot on how to fix this, is it fixable, or do I just replace?
Thanks
Ash
Dr. Bimmer 09-24-2006, 09:29 PM Armen,
I sent you an e-mail last week about the rear shelf and other stuff. I didn't hear back from you with a final price for shipping. I'm still interested! Please let me know ASAP. Thanks.

the seats are gone, I believe, but fixing the twist is actually very common and "simple" (if not easy) fix... its well documented over at bimmer.info IIRC.
Mr Project 09-24-2006, 11:20 PM Dr. Bimmer, sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I got it all boxed up today and need to weigh it. I'll let you know tomorrow.
Mr Project 09-24-2006, 11:21 PM BTW - The shell is gone, FlyerRyan hauled it off today. So if I didn't already have something in the works with you, it's probably too late.

Sorry, I missed this one before. The seats are gone, but you can probably fix your twisted seat issue in less than an hour and for $0. Read this link:

Decklid is sold pending payment from Dr. Bimmer.
flyeryan 09-25-2006, 02:28 PM I'd be happy to supply people parts, as long as I don't need them, now that I'm in possession of the car. However, the car is at home about 150 miles away from where I live (college), so what I'll need to do is get a bunch of requests, go home some weekend and pull it all and then send them out. So if you need something in a hurry, it probably isn't gonna happen. Feel free to PM or email me.
flyeryan 09-25-2006, 05:31 PM Armen, did you sell all the interior door panels? I can't remember if they're in the car or not.
Mr Project 09-25-2006, 05:48 PM Instrument cluster already went away, and I'm keeping the door panels for the Touring. Gonna do a black and tan combo next year sometime...probably similar to your car, Ryan, but with seats and door panels as well.

That sounds sweet. When are you doing that, spring? If I'm around and you want help it'd be a fun weekend project.
Mr Project 09-25-2006, 06:16 PM Yeah, probably next summer...I'll keep you posted.
Dark Schnitzer 09-25-2006, 10:28 PM I'd like to see if you still have the front fenders available? If you could, email me at vinceinatorz@hotmail.com with yourresponse.
Thanks man.............Vinny
