Hello,
i am new to this website i have a 525i german specs... i have come to ask if it is posible to put a 92 535i engine into a 89 525i? if any one could help me out on this on this i would greatly aprieciate it....

it's technically possible, but would probably have some big hidden costs in wiring, etc.

Do you know where i can get wiring scematics/ digrams for both cars?

(i want the bigger engine i top off at 142 on the autobahn right now its just not fast enough :D )

the difference in top speeds between the 525 and the 535 isn't that much, I would assume. since you're in germany you have more access to s38 engines. actually, if you want to go a lot faster, you need to go the route of forced induction. slap a fat turbo on your beast, drop the clutch and hold on tight. or buy an alpina b10 bi turbo :)

i also need to replace the tranny (gears are loose as hell) and the clutch but for a 89 its not bad
i have about 1500 worth of repairs to it (rotars tires above mention)

well is there anything different from a BMW standard tranny from a chevy tranny? if not then i could just rebuild it mine just never done one for a car... only trucks
