A friend of mine is looking for a reputable car audio shop in the San Diego area. He needs a nav system installed. I just moved here, so your help is appreciated.

You know you're really looking to get some "bumps" :) La Jolla Audio will be expensive, but probably very capable. I think most install shops can probably do the install. A Nav system isn't too difficult. The tricky part is finding the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) wire and a signal for reverse. I actually installed one in our SUV and it wasn't that bad. I suppose if you had to bring it somewhere I'd try San Diego Stereo on Convoy. I always find that whenever I've let car stereo shops do the install I typically tear everything apart shortly afterwards to see their work. Good Luck. 95werksm3 09-06-2006, 05:58 PM San Diego Car Stereo - Poway Location - great shop clex2 09-07-2006, 07:58 PM Hey Chris. You know you're really looking to get some "bumps" :) Yeah, thanks to the Cardiff meet, I now have a new vocabulary. I can appreciate nice "bumps" but this time the bumps are not for my car. BTW, can you remind me who you are. I met so many people that day, but I know I only spoke to 3-4 people that educated me about "bumps" at the end of the meet.:) 318daily 09-08-2006, 09:18 AM BTW, can you remind me who you are. I was the one with the 540 wagon on BBS's. :wave |
