LONG STORY SHORT

August 16 i worked a graveyard shift and was heading home east on the 210. At 4am there was no one on the road so i was avg 85+. I got pulled over by a chp truck. Gave him the usual paperwork. Then he proceeds to come back and give me my stuff said he cited me for going in excess of 85. Said i will get something in the mail in about a week. I did not sign anything or was handed anything. Well today sept 6 i still have not recieved anything. I got onto the los angeles county superior court site and went to traffic then typed in my drivers license and nothing comes up. Kinda concerned as i know sometimes they show up last minute. I am just concerned about not getting a failure to appear. So what do i do. I was pulled over around Madre on the 210. so i was thinking that would be pasadena court. However im not too sure how it would work. Need advice

Usually your court date is like 45 days, give or take a few days, from the date you recieved the ticket. So I would probably go in and check one more time a month from when you got the ticket just to make sure you don't have a court date, and then check it one more time in a few weeks just to make sure.

Very odd. If the officer didn't have you sign anything or give you anything then I think it was late in his shift and he was tired as hell and forgot.

Personally. I'd like to think you're in the clear. But make sure to check in like Don said to make sure they don't put you on file. A bit of a hassle, but better than a warrant.

i would actually say that ur in the clear on this one. first off when u sign a ticket it is basically a promise that u will take care of the ticket (either pay or go to court), so no signature means that u didnt promise anything. even if u do recieve a FTA u can easily contest it as the officer will not have ur signature on his paperwork. i think he just said that to scare u into slowin down. trucks hardly ever give out tickets to cars from what i've heard...they r there mostly for the semis. so i think u owe ppl some beer...lol

Yea, what everyone else said is pretty right. I am just careful when it comes to tickets since i've gotten so many :devillook So I guess I was being over careful. But you should be good.
