Hi to everyone, new to the forum so this is my first.
Currently driving a e61 535d m sport and loving it except the gearbox. Seems as though the box is slow to select 1st when rolling to junction so when you pull away you get whats like 'clutch slip' for a couple of seconds then it's away!!
Had the dealer look at it and the've reset the adpations and the gearbox is fantastic again, for the moment! Apparently it's learning from scratch again and will probably end up back where it was shortly.
Does anybody know how this learning can be stopped??
Other manufacturers make cars with big torque and don't get this problem so why BMW?
