Since being temporarily disabled and having next to a lot of nothing to do, I listen to my police scanner.

This is the absolute hilarious thing I've heard regarding Bimmers in the area with the County Sheriffs:

just heard on the police scanner :

"A smoked grey bimmer off of Leigh and 280 is failing to stop. Attempting pursuit. He's umm evading and is enroute to 280 freeway. He's taking off... Umm I don't know what to do. Dispatch please advise."

After which another officer came on the channel requesting registration and the aforementioned officer with the bimmer switched channels.

I laughed soo fawking hard.

wow that's weird, i listen to police/fire/ems radios 60+ hours a week and never hear an officer and uncouth and unrefined as that. i guess san jose is more podunk then san diego.

no. but i had the music turned on pretty loud with the ipod and i was busy makin sure i didnt hit anyone as bad as that sounds. was probably on the speaker phone too. it was just before the lunch rush and i was taking advantage of the far left lane that most people dont have the balls to hit with any decent speed. had to go meet a couple clients for lunch. didnt think none of it. well i have no front plate and a rear one so if the cops got it down ill probably get a letter in a couple of days, if not, well i guess i lucked out. oh well. whats the worst that can happen, im an attorney, i can represent myself right? =)
