Gunmetal. That is not a WRX :) Not to be hating on the WRX people. That is just me though. I plan on getting black wheels with a polished lip.

The red anodized look is sort of interesting.

Waaay back in the late seventies I had a pickup with chrome rims. I painted the spokes with a candy apple red color that sort of looked like your photoshoped red rims. So I kinda am partial to this look.

Also its not a "full page feature" Its a FOUR page feature in Performance BMW - look for it in about Feb/March ;) Loser.

There are a ton of original E34s - like the one with the E39 hood and headlights which looks HIDEOUS and the ones with the E36 conversion kits... but uh, that doesn't make them any nicer. Sure your car is original because no one else in their right mind would put that ricey bumper on and paint their rims red.

BUT really, I've thought about doing the same to my Mpars.. but here's the dilemma..

1. there is no real definition between the lip and the spokes.. unlike 2/3 piece wheels.... So where would you make the separation between the 2 colors?

2. Mpars are undoubtedly one of the classiest wheels for the e34.. so when you paint the centers, or even the whole wheel, you kinda take away the design of them (probably applies most to darker colors.)..

Opinions should be respectfull. Personally I think the suede does look "ghetto" and the newer steering wheel doesn't work but that's purely my opinion. I do like your wheels though and you've kept the outside of your car quite tastefull, IMHO. If we all thought the same way all our cars would look the same and that would be boring.

It wouldnt have mattered if he said he didnt like it , i can understand my car is not for everyone and i dont think im better than anyone else. Dude are you serious? Ughhhh..... it was the worst drive ever too, I got ~7 miles from home and there was a massive accident. What time did I leave, around 9ish? Got home at 1am. Awesome.
