Leadfoot Adventures has room for 12 experienced drivers to earn some free track time by instructing novice drivers on Friday Sept 29th and/or Monday October 2nd at Streets of Willow Springs. Instructors will get to run for free in the Advanced open passing group and can expect to get five 20-30 minute sessions.

If you're interested in helping out at this event or any others listed at the LeadfootAdventures website, please contact me with your racing/HPDE experience.

Qualified volunteers must have experience instructing in an HPDE format. Leadfoot instructors are expected to teach safety, track awareness, and basic car control concepts in between sessions and while riding as passengers in students’ cars. Slow-speed orientation laps will be held after the rookie driving class, and a lead-follow session at moderate speeds will be held after that. In-car instruction will begin later in the morning and continue throughout the afternoon novice sessions. Instructors are encouraged to attend the novice downloads with their students.

Are there any sound limits on cars and does an Instructor car have to have a Passenger seat??

I may be able to get the time off work, but the above questions will determine what I bring for a car. I am working on one for Racing in Mexico that could use a good shakedown event.

There are no sound limits at Willow Springs that I know of. I'll doublecheck with the track though.

Depending on how the month goes, I may be able to bring both my BMW and the Rx7 Racecar (no-passenger seat) Loud as HELL, 14000+ RPM!

Last day to sign up online is today until midnight for Friday's track day and Sunday at midnight for Monday's track event. You can also just show up to the track. Both Friday and Monday have all kinds of open slots, so it will practically be an open track if you go. Hope to see some of you there.
