Proper break-in for cam install followed (rev to 2000 rpm for 20 mins to get oil up into valvetrain area of head).

Every service was meticulously executed.

Check out some pics at my website here: http://filebox.vt.edu/users/chcampbe/99%20M3 Note: when the pictures were taken (about 3 months ago) my suspension was set a bit higher for ingress/egress from driveway. It is lower now

I would have simply bumped it, but I wanted a new thread to show the reduced price. Since I can't edit the thread title to reflect the reduction, most of the people who have already seen the thread probably wouldn't even bother looking again. Make sense?

Not positive, but I think if you edit and go advanced you can change the title. Free bump

Neon01,
Who built the cage and is it SCCA or BMWCR spec? Are you the original owner?
Thanks,
Scott

Scott,

I am not the original owner. I purchased the car from a guy in San Diego who had the cage installed. I could see if I can get some info on it. He mentioned when he sold the car to me that the cage was SCCA legal, but I actually had him remove the door bars since I would only be using it for HPDEs, so I suspect to be SCCA legal they would need to be welded back in.

Sorry that I can't give more detail.

Is this car still available?

Sorry for the delay in my reply - I'm on the Mediterranean and only get periodic access to the internet.

Yes, the car is still available. I will be checking emails every day or two until my return home on Oct 10. Let me know if you'd like to come take a look.

Is the car in MD (as your location states) or is it at Va Tech (as your email indicates)?

I know of a very interested party with cash-in-hand for the right E36 track car. I would like to check the car out whenever you are back in the states and free to show it.

I am actually located in MD, the email is from my alumni account. I'd be happy to show it to you when I get back in town.

I'll email when I return and get situated.
