I'm thinking about buying a car in Brentwood, TN (near Nashville) and was wondering if anyone has a reference for a good shop to inspect it for me and do a compression test. I'm driving from Indiana and want to have it checked out before I officially buy it and bring it back home.

the place i go is in Franklin-Cool springs area...i forget the name but if you are on franklin road going towards franklin cross over mac hatcher the go a mile or 2 and take a left at the mapco. the shop is on the left its a blue building, they work on MB, Jags, BMWs, Porsches, much cheaper than a dealer.

Akinbimmer is another one in Franklin. Great guy. He really knows his stuff.
