just wondering where i should tap the power supply for my plx m250. i have the unit mounted in the ecu compartment with the tec3. just not sure which wires to tap. i know it needs to be 12 - 18 volt ingition wires but i do not know how to identify the right ones.

The heater circuit in WB02 takes quite a bit of power. Don't run that off an ignition lead. Use the ignition lead to trigger a relay, but supply the relay with either power from the battery or alternator or from a fusebox fuse that is underutilised or that that is empty and that you can add a fuse and tap into. Basically, for the relay trigger, you want to tap into a lead that is hot only when the engine is running (key in #2 position). Use a test light to find such a wire. Unless someone else can identify an appropriate wire to tap for the heater circuit, however, I would consider running a fresh wire and using a relay.

Not necessary -

use the output of your main relay.
