Hey,

I'm thinking of buying a friend of mine a stereo for her car for Christmas. However, since she lives in North Hollywood and I'm in Jersey, I can't do the install for her. Can anyone recommend a decent shop that can do the install for a reasonable price? It'll be very basic - just a stereo HU w/CD in her Corolla.

If the shop can give me a good deal on a HU, too, then that would be great.

I know this is a little OT here (no BMW content), but I hope you guys forgive me. :)

Thanks,
Dave

I wouldn't bring ANY car to BestBuy, Curciut City, Al and Eds'. You'll get ripped of and most likely get a HACK job.

Call Automotive Entertainment in Pasadena 626-577-1200. They're at the 210 and Rosemead blvd, not too far from North Hollywood. Tell them Austin referred you. They're not the cheapest but give decent prices for authorized gear. Good luck.

I wouldn't take my car in to the places i mentioned either! But i mean please, its just a head unit install into a carolla. If they could at least do something it would be that. I know of people getting the alpine decks installed at circuit city, and best buy. They seemingly did a good job even under the interface of a head unit. Most people can install an HU with no experience, just imagine if u have at least some training or knowledge in the field.
