I just found out that I need some coolant. I called the dealer but they're closed. I called Napa, but they told me to call the dealer. Does anyone have any in stock that want to sell to me? or any shops that carry BMW coolant? LMK asap. thanks

I used Zerex G-05 from Checkers. It's almost identical and a lot cheaper.

If you are just topping off, you could put in distilled water for now.

you could also use 50/50 coolant

nonono do NOT use regular auto parts store coolant in a BMW. Use OE coolant, saab or Volvo coolant. You can also try Hawaii Import Parts.

Edited: BMW, Volvo and Saab coolant is G48. Mercedes is G05.

+1 for distilled water as last resort, only use OE coolant though

It is my understanding that Zerex G-05 is almost identical, if not totally identical to BMW's coolant, except for the color, which is the result of a dye only. According to my research Zerex G-05 is the OE coolant for MB.

This is what initially suggested Zerex G-05 to me.

I've never understood how this premix stuff works but Hawaii Import carries the premix stuff from Mercedes and I think Pentosin.

i think the biggest thing about the coolant, is that is phosphate free
