Can I use the stock "shark fin" antenna on my 04' 325xi as the antenna for the Sirius module on a AVIC-Z1. I would prefer to not have to run the antenna included with the Sirius module.

I have not receive these items in the mail yet, so I am just trying to plan things out ahead of time.

Unlike the XM antenna pod, the Sirius antenna pod must be mounted outside of the car. I just installed the Z1 with XM, and the antenna was placed on right corner of the dash by the windshield base.
