Looks ok for the altitude and the crank to wheel loss.

Looks maybe a little on the low side for Denver. I usually see the stock ones making 170-180. Could have been attributed to heat, etc...

Thats' the exact numbers I got with my 95 M3, corrected for altitude that comes out to 210whp. We take a huge hit because of the altitude. When I was in Florida the car pulls much harder in 5th gear then it does in 3rd gear here in Denver.

I'm just sad that I can't chirp into second like everyone else can.

Were you able to chirp into second with your car?

Yea easily, I can chirp the tires shifting at 6k and up. I think everyone can, you need to work on your shifting or your clutch is worn out.

Oh by the way chirping the tires won't make your car go any faster!

^uhm...

correct me if i'm wrong, but i thought if you are chirping tires, that means you need to work on your shifting? ;)

It's a bad way to judge performance, but I was concerned that my car couldn't chirp into second. I've done it once and that's it.

My clutch engagement is very high, and is a very small portion of the clutch travel. My clutch does slip in first gear if i'm hard on it I'll end up replacing it sooner or later.

it's a car with 102K miles and a stock clutch, and a crazy past.

Chirping your tires just abuses the drivetrain and your tires...

You'll lose about 3% of your power every 1000 ft over sea level that you go.

You clearly need to add forced induction to your car!
