I have a 2002 325 CI convertible and the button that operates all 4 windows at once stopped working. I'm sure i just need a new switch which I can get from the dealership but I'm not sure how to dissassemble the center console to get the switch out. I'm afraid of cracking the plastic so I figured I would ask the experts before I start screwing around with it. By the way the switch is just lying flat now with no tension behind it.

remove the shift boot. If it's an auto just pull the boot and the black plastic piece that has the gear selection display in it. the whole piece comes out. then you should be able to pop the switch out from underneath
