Not a huge deal, but thought I would let everyone know. I recently placed an order at Pelican totaling about 300 bucks recieving free shipping. In the order I purchased a Coolant Expansion Tank which they evidently no longer carry. The order went through but in the end I was not charged for the expansion tank (Didn't realize until I checked after it never showed up)

Someone created an order for me with their more expensive tank and told me to call to place the order. I call them up and pay the extra 20 for the other tank and then they tell me I have to pay 10 bucks shipping. She says there is no way for her to authorize that and cannot waive the shipping.

Sure its only 10 bucks but I'm a little pissed that no one called me to tell me the tank was not going to be shipped and give me the option to pay the extra amount for the other tank, which I would have done at that point. Somewhat shady business on pelicans part.

Hi Brian. People have complained a lot in the past about delays in orders, so we indeed ship what we have right away (for FREE) so that people can get their parts right away. Sorry about the confusion on the stock level - our website apparently said that there was one in stock, but when we went to have it pulled, it wasn't there. For the most part, in general, it's faster and better to complete the order and send it out right away, and then create a new order for the missing part.

I see that Allen already gave you a 15% discount ($9.25) off of the price of the more expensive tank (something that you forgot to mention in your post). The BEHR is indeed a much better manufacturer than the Meyle as well.

In addition, I have waived the shipping charge for this order, and it has been sent through our system for processing. You should get a tracking number this afternoon, and you should receive the package probably Tuesday or Wednesday (Monday is a holiday).

Unless I am wrong I believe the price was 59 before I placed the order. Either way thank you for going out of your way and making good business. I have always had a good experience with you guys (something else I forgot to add :)). Thanks again.
