I have a friend who needs to get a car transported from DC to Dallas as soon as possible. I called several places including InterCity and the cheapest I can find is $679. Does anyone have a hookup? Or know a place cheaper? I used to be able to get a car transported for around $500.00 but I lost the contact info years ago.:help :help :help

$679 isn't a horrible deal. Some carriers charge different prices for different cars. My dad has shipped numerous cars to LA from Dallas for $740 via Dependable Auto Shippers and thats with his dealer discount.

+1 you need to jump on this. Plane ticket to DC is like $150. Cover his 1 night room and board..another $100(meals+hotel) and gas. Plus throw toph some cash

If yo udid it right I bet you could get away with gas and paying Toph and all for $500ish

I shipped my car from NC for $600 terminal to terminal (drop off in Dallas was in Mesquite). They estimated it would take 14 days but it got here in 5 days.

thanks for the input, my friend would have driven it back but it is having transmission problems and we need to get it here to get it repaired with someone local. I guess that is the best deal....Thanks again!

Have you noticed the price of gas has gone up a bit in the past few years? $640 is pretty cheap.
