Not sure if it's a good picture to chop considering the angle. If it's not, I can try and get better ones this weekend.

Basically want to see my car

Yeah, I apologize... it kinda is quite a request, but I constantly look at that poster and wonder what would my car look like as a street version GTR (at least in body since I'll never really have the motor for it :( ). I also figure at least I have that model to look at now.

I can always take better pics and you can just make it the chop contest 8 :D

the e36 m3 gtr engine is stock save for an intake, and i believe it was cams. just really light weight. ya rly

i guess it was euro though

EDIT: i guess it had "dual-pickup oil sump" whatever that is, an 850ci driveshaft, a flywheel, 3.23 final drive and a clutch, still close to nothing though

ok, i more or less finished decals. got lazy towards the end so the hood is inacurate, but i couldn't get the text to look right, so i made it up. more or less like the poster...

SWEET!!!! Thank you :) I really like the way it looks.. to the point I've been thinking about going back to amber corners. Now I really want to find a PTG/GT widebody... but I'd also have to get new wheels since I doubt 18x8 LMs would look right without some damn good spacers :( And I'd go with the road version and no stickers, unless I wanted to do the red checker over the front bumper strip. :D

Thanks again and I really appreciate the effort

Model came from eBay... lots of hunting, waiting, and bidding strategy to get it.

Poster from autotrend.com sitting my apartment waiting to be framed.

That is an amazing chop, one of the best I have seen. Not loving it with the decals tho.

Don't get me wrong, I really think its a great chop effort, but there's not much of a difference between the original photo and the 'road' version (wing, wheels, guards...?, is that it..?), but the work you've done with the decals looks excellent.

I think LupinIII's done a very good job with their angles, their shading and placement. It's not overly done (when compared with an actual photo, and its tastefully done. If you look closely you can see where some things have been put on, but that's the case with almost all photoshop efforts, and really, this is an excellent job, decals and all.

I love the chops Lupin did... think they're great. Wasn't expecting the decals, but it was a great treat. Honestly wanted to see my car like the road version GTR. Another example would be stowe9man's sig. I think you can still get the kit from MAshaw. Maybe one day I'll be able to do it... and I'd kill for those wheels too, but I'm happy with LMs :) And until I'm actually able to do it, I'll look at the chop Lupin did for me :D

Still contemplating going back to amber corners.

the best kinda is the ones wehre you can't see whats been done :shifty :lol

i really don't know exactly what im doin, so every different one is done slightly differently. thanks for the complements, but don't worry, i take criticism pretty well :D
