i have 2 pics of my hood open and closed, can anyone put them together to make the hood transparent showing the motor?

Alright here was my process
- I outlined the hood in the picture of the hood closed with the pen tool. Then I went to the paths tab where layers is and right clicked > make selection.
- Selected the layers tab and selected the layer with the picture of the hood open.
- copy and pasted
- deleted the entire pic of the hood open leaving just the engine bay from the because of the copy & paste i did earlier.
- lowered the opacity
- took the brush tool with size ~150 and strength at about 20% and erased around the edges and some ugly parts.
yours was a little harder though because the angles and sizes of the two pics were off.... i just did cmd+t for this and messed around with it a lil.
