Jumping off the boat.. insane! peperry 08-26-2006, 01:03 PM This is def the sweetest commercial i have seen in a while. I wonder how many cars they destroyed making this video and the music makes it that much better haha OldGray320i 08-26-2006, 01:17 PM I will never again say I have pretty good car control skills (never mind all of the other stunts they do...). Incredible. MattE21 08-26-2006, 02:14 PM How much of that is actual driving? Can someone explain how they manage to drive on two wheels like that? Amazing. iamorami 08-26-2006, 02:35 PM Damn, that's crazy. I think they all sold their soul to the devil to become stunt drive gods. kdanielson 08-26-2006, 02:39 PM Stunt drivers have been driving on two wheels like that since the early '70s at least... ken C P Squared 08-26-2006, 02:52 PM thats pretty sweet BoomerDJ 08-26-2006, 02:59 PM How much of that is actual driving? Can someone explain how they manage to drive on two wheels like that? Amazing. theres like a hydrollic chassi under the car that lifts it up like that and then the just computer it out. its really simplr actually. Taiko 08-26-2006, 09:04 PM I can't remember where I saw it, but I was told that there were no computer adaptations in those adverts. Besides, It would have been pretty obvious as the 80's CG was a bit lacking in quality when compared to todays. jbob 08-27-2006, 12:29 AM that's awesome! haha, yeah I also wonder how many cars they went through....altho they're relatively cheap cars (even for back in the 80's). That Paris subway scene was pretty cool....wonder if the guy who thought of that idea for the Italian Job took inspiration from this commercial. that boat jumping scene is insane! it looked fishy @ first because it looked like they were boucing off higher after the boat...but it looks to be just good camera placement (and it cuts off the landing area). the new VW rabbit commercial kind of reminds me of this...altho not nearly as extreme. AE101 08-27-2006, 01:29 AM my god, all those poor axle shafts and tie rod ends! I saw an old Saab video like that before, but this one is definatly better.. Why can't they make commercials like that anymore... slowe21 08-27-2006, 04:51 AM hahahahaha awesome!! Loved it! VeNo///M 08-27-2006, 05:22 AM wow. too sweet. jonmcc 08-27-2006, 05:49 AM that music is hawt fdf323 08-27-2006, 07:29 AM The stunt driver team is the Remy Julienne team.
