Cutter never had the dealership. Shelly had it all these years and prior to that it was Karl Oberaker, my friend's dad.

And knowing them... They'll make you wait forever if you order one to your liking rather than picking out one in the showroom and they'll slap on a huge ass "adjusted market price."

why dont you just take a trip to Germany order the M3 to your specs and likings and pay an extra $900 to have BMW ship it to the states, compared to the price you would pay here or on the mainland you will get it at least $15000 maybe a little more cheapier and yes it would be American spec. Just a thought

so a well equipped one will go for about how much, 70-75K?...it's gonna be a cool car, but I don't think I'd care much for all those electronic driver's aids that will make you think you're Hans Stuck...

It is around the same price. I have no idea where the $15k savings came from, unless it includes the "adjusted market value" sticker. Typically, you'll save $3k - $5k, which will cover the cost of yoru trip to Germany.

Cutter had a BMW dealership in Santa Barbara. Maybe he was talking about that one.
