Isnt there several of them in KC? rcM3 01-03-2008, 02:40 PM I think its safe to assume the Mission/47th street location. ride1099 01-03-2008, 03:55 PM damn always too early for me to make it, maybe next time Anybody know who has that black ACS E34 I see driving around? I saw it agian today at 95th & Metcalf Dark Helmet 01-03-2008, 05:08 PM you sure its an actual ACS car... and not Brady's "really nice E34" Theodore 01-03-2008, 05:44 PM Should we change the name of the meats to "omgwtf///kcokj! ftmfw."? ride1099 01-04-2008, 09:44 AM you sure its an actual ACS car... and not Brady's "really nice E34" Yeah it probably wasn't a real ACS car since it didn't even have any badges, but aside from that it had all the cosmetic ACS goodies. It had the smoked hella tails too BTW (not a fan) but the car looked pretty good kesslerbmw 01-04-2008, 02:13 PM you sure its an actual ACS car... and not Brady's "really nice E34" Its not nice anymore.. Currently being dissmantled. :( Im already looking for parts and planning out another car though. :buttrock It will be over the top, I promise. I want to do an e21 first though. Keep your eye out for me. Yeah it probably wasn't a real ACS car since it didn't even have any badges, but aside from that it had all the cosmetic ACS goodies. It had the smoked hella tails too BTW (not a fan) but the car looked pretty good Please please try to get a picture of it or the plate state and #. I used to see this e34 M5 all the time that was siiiiiiiiiiick but I haven't seen it in years. I would LOVE to get the lisence # off the car and get a name and address so I can talk to the guy and see it up close. I bet its the same car. First time I saw the car Im talking about was a few years ago when I was still a Chevy guy (:shifty) and I freaked out because of how awesome it was. It was "The E34 Moment for me" Im excited about HellaQ next week.. btw. thats going to be the new name. I need to get with Steve and start up a site and make some stickers.. We need to start getting all you guys to come out and we're going to get back to the list and have them all planned out. I want to make this coming summer full of BMW's, BBQ, and good times. ride1099 01-04-2008, 03:57 PM I'll try and get some pictures of the car if I ever see it again. The guy didn't really seem too friendly though. We were driving right next to each other and he wouldn't even look over. Maybe he's one of those people who just bought the car becuase they liked the way it looked, not realizing what it is or what it has on it. Who knows, sweet car though Seeker 01-04-2008, 10:27 PM Brady.. wtf happened to the e34? was thinking of talking to you 'bout sumthin.. I'm taking a trip up past Cameron, Mo soon on a weekend to see this guys BMW boneyard.. I'm looking for some minor parts for my Shark.. but he has some other models as well. Here's what he's got(more or less): 87 M6(no drivetrain) and an 79 633 '85 528e, '86 535i, '89 735il and he wrote me: I have an M5 powered e28 535 and a 745i as well. An after-market turbo with a stainless exhaust for a big six, it was removed from an early 7 series (e23). And a variety of other BMW parts that have accumulated over the past 15 years. Oh, I have complete euro bumpers for an e28 if you know anyone in need. I think I have the headlights as well, have to check that. BTW, I got the Shark tagged today.. so hopefully I'll be able to bring it out to OK Joes Wed. I'm skittish about the tires.. but think they will hold up for now. Had some fun driving it for a short time.. this car is nutso on the corners for an autobox. madsedan 01-04-2008, 11:38 PM I'll be in KC next Friday night, in town for the BMWCCA club dinner Saturday night, anything cool going on? Any of you guys coming to the club dinner? I'm sure if its like a couple years ago when I came up we'll go out and get loaded afterwards. kesslerbmw 01-04-2008, 11:40 PM Brady.. wtf happened to the e34? was thinking of talking to you 'bout sumthin.. I'm kinda sketch about driving my car up there, it sounds like something about to fall off back there. But i'm sure if I can't get a ride or borrow something I'll end up driving up there anyway. I might just have the wheel bearing replacedand see if that fixes it, but we are pretty swamped right now and I don't know if we can gat to it my wendsday. RagnarDanskjold 01-07-2008, 02:58 PM When did Seeker get a shark? :confused Nobody (except Brandon) returns my calls. :tear You needy ninny! Does it diminish at all if you're accelerating with some torque on the driveline? My diff made a continual growling noise before I replaced it. The bearings are well worn, I'm sure, but the car ran just fine. sparkchaser 01-07-2008, 03:34 PM Sparky! I tried to PM you but your box is full of sausage. yeah. PM box is clear now. I'll holla after work yo! :D assoutE12 01-07-2008, 04:57 PM Does it diminish at all if you're accelerating with some torque on the driveline? My diff made a continual growling noise before I replaced it. The bearings are well worn, I'm sure, but the car ran just fine. nope, it pretty much stays the same under acceleration/braking/coasting, perhaps a little louder under braking. it gets louder the faster I go. Seeker 01-07-2008, 05:01 PM Awesome e24. I hope to have one someday. Thanks. I wish it were in awesome shape.. so much work needs done to it to restore it. Rear susp. needs rebuilt, front/back airdam/aprons missing, electric seats need mechanical repair, stereo wiring butchured, CC dont work, door handle/hinge needs replaced... rear tires corded cuz of bad susp.... goes on and on. But all in all.. it's a fairly sound base to work from. I did finally get it tagged and took it out for a spin the other day and was shocked how squirrelly it'd get when opened up. Wants to drift like no tomorrow. I'm thinkin of putting on my old steelies w/snow tires on for now.. the rear drivers tire looks scary with a sidewall crack/gash that looks like it'll blow out anytime. I'm more concerned about that gash than the cording. Dark Schnitzer 01-07-2008, 06:00 PM So how many of you guys end up making it to these GTG 's ?? I guess I need to bust a move and make it up sometime after I finish up the Dark Schnitzer.:cool If you dig ACS tuned/themed E34's....this one is a clone S5.
